Dec 6, 2012 - Rails to Trails

Following the big storms we experienced in California last week and by popular demand, this weeks hike was on the Rails to Trails pathway from Placerville to Camino Heights. Ten Geezers enjoyed the easy 10.2 mile round trip hike (walk) on the paved bike/walking trail with some pretty views along the way. We stopped for lunch at the end of the paved trail, then the majority decided against a further 2 miles round trip to the far end of the trail because apple pie and ice cream were calling.
