August 16, 2012 - Kyaking at Echo Lake
This weeks event was a Kayaking adventure at Echo Lake, located on highway 50 north of Sierra Ski Ranch. It's at the 7000ft level so much cooler than in the valley. There were fourteen Geezers present, Loren, John, Merrill, Jerry, Vern (T), Roland, Bill, Larry, Rod, Sherm, Wayne, Rich, Vello & J.D. With nine kayaks and one canoe, it was quite a flotilla! Many kudos to Loren for arranging this weeks event as it took much more than the normal hiking organization. What a great day!!

What a day for kayaking. The work putting it together was well worth it. Kudos also go to Merrill, John, Vern & Jerry for helping work out the logistics and drove us all.
ReplyDeleteThe swim at Loch Leven Lakes next week should also be a great outing.
