The Geezers hiked up Lyons Creek to Sylvia The hike was rated moderate for it's length (9 miles round trip) and elevation gain (around 1300 ft). Sylvia Lake is east of the Wright's Lake Road- north of Rte 50 (between Kyburz and Twin Bridges ). Wild flowers were out in abundance and the creek was flowing at high volume. Some stayed on the trail by the creek bathing our feet in the ice cold water while a few went the additional short distance to Sylvia Lake . Mosquitoes were out in force, so glad for repellent and our English TCP!
